Training programs

Six ways to work with us.

Sessions run an hour, plus time to adjust the pocket and go over wall ball. Every player leaves the first lesson with a drill list built for their position.

Coach Jason Sanders

The coach

Jason Sanders

Grew up on Long Island, played close defense, midfield, and attack, and has faced off in every position on the field except goalie. He founded Learn Lax in 2000 to teach the fundamentals the way he learned them, and still runs most sessions himself.

Families

What parents say.

★★★★★
No two workouts are the same, as he constantly introduces new drills and exercises to develop the whole player. His workout is intense and well worth the time and money.
Lisa Platania
★★★★★
Jason corrected him, patiently, every single time. Any ball that missed the net, our son had to chase.
A grateful mom and dad
★★★★★
I already see major improvement in my game. My footwork, confidence and fundamental skills have all improved during games and practices.

Common questions

Before you book.

How long is a session?
Private sessions run an hour, plus a little extra time to adjust the pocket and go over wall ball drills on the first lesson.
Where do sessions take place?
Locally on Long Island. Individual and group lessons are held at a field near you; Aidan Kilduff's sessions run at Ward Melville High School in East Setauket.
What age or level do you work with?
Youth league through high school, at every ability level. Goalies included, taught from an offensive perspective.
What is the cancellation policy?
A $25 fee applies if you cancel within 24 hours of the lesson. Miss a lesson without calling and the full lesson is charged. Nothing is charged when the coach cancels for weather.
Do you review game film?
Yes. Game video review is available, watching previous games to find misplayed opportunities and fix them for the next one.
